This specimen has been awarded in the Espiga Awards for best acorn-fed hams denomination of origin "Dehesa de Extremadura" of Caja Rural de Extremadura in the years 2004, 2003, 2013 and 2016. It has also received the award for Best Acorn-fed Ham at the "Salón del Jamón Ibérico de Extremadura" in Jerez de los Caballeros in 2013, 2015 and 2016.
